Sabbath Evening Closing Worship with R. Clifford Jones. R. Clifford Jones is the Associate Dean of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary and a professor in the Christian Ministry Department.
He regularly teaches courses in Church Leadership and Administration, The Church and Social Issues, Preaching, and other topics.
Dr. Jones brings to his roles strong educational and pastoral backgrounds. Prior to joining the Seminary faculty in 1995, he served as a pastor in the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists from 1979-1995.
A graduate of Fitchburg State University (Massachusetts) and of Andrews University, Dr. Jones went on to earn the DMin degree from New York Theological Seminary (1989) and the PhD from Western Michigan University (2001). He has authored numerous articles in popular, professional, and scholarly journals, and has published three books.
During his spare time, Dr. Jones enjoys jogging. He also enjoys interacting with students, hearing their stories, tuning into their journeys, and helping them achieve their goals. Dr. Jones is married to the lovely Elva Jones (nee Williams) and they are the proud parents of two adult children.
