For far too long Christianity has been seen as a set of beliefs and/or a lifestyle seeking to know and do what is right. We have focused on trying to change people when it is God alone who can change people. We are not even capable of changing ourselves much less others. The goal of the Christian life is the transformation that comes from a connection with the living God. Anything less than that is not true Christianity.

Living with Jesus will guide individuals or small groups through exploring and learning skills and biblical insights that will help us know and walk with God. Participants will learn and grow together. We will look at the key biblical truths which form the foundation for a growing Christian experience. We will also explore and practice the fundamental spiritual skills which make it possible for us to grow in spiritual maturity.

About the Author: Ben Maxson has more than 40 years of discipleship ministry experience. He and Mary have retired after more than 47 years in full-time ministry, with 10 years as Stewardship Director of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He is a Lead Professor for the Andrews SDA Seminary DMin cohort for Discipleship and Spiritual Growth.
