This book is based on Paul’s prophetic council to Timothy about the onslaught of the precarious and dangerous days to be unleashed upon the world. Nineteen extreme end time evils are discussed, and then Christ’s character is given as the only remedy for such evil.

Peter connects Noah’s flood of water with the final flood of fire as consequences of extreme implacable and continuous evil. As the door of the ark was open for people to enter for 120 years of warning, so Christ’s wings of refuge from the flood of fire are still open. Mercifully, the invitation and warnings are still sounding to enter and be saved.
