If you’ve ever had clay pots on your patio, you know how fragile they are. They will crack with the slightest impact. And sometimes people “crack,” which explains why there are so many “cracked pots” in the world and the church. 

Yet, every life (cracked or not) has a purpose, and that purpose is best realized when we become part of a community that makes caring for each other its central focus.

This book is an invitation to step away from isolationism long enough to embrace the value of community, with all of its rewards, complexities, and hardships.
