Has someone ever asked you to give a Bible study? Did you know how to give one? This facilitator’s guide is a tool to help both the inexperienced and experienced become beacons of light in a dark world (Psalm 119:105). It is designed to bring others to Christ (Psalm 143:10), and engage you as a servant of the Lord. It has over 600 scriptures from more than 35 books of the Bible. In addition, it is all scripture-based, easy to understand, and it accompanies the Bible study series The Word of God Foundational Bible Study.
This is an excellent resource for prison ministry Bible studies. Those in prison are seeking the same thing as many others—Jesus (Matthew 6:33). Let us not neglect any souls God sends (Matthew 25:36, Isaiah 42:7).
Steps to a Successful Bible Study
1. Study systematically: focusing on only one topic at a time provides a deeper relationship with God in your study.
2. Study thoroughly: read, study and review in preparation to share God’s Word.
3. Study deeply: examine God’s perfect Word through different translations line upon line, precept upon precept.
4. Study academically: take notes and write down what you do not understand. Then ask God for clarity as you continue to study His Word.
