Woof! My name is Baby. I’m a puppy, and this is my true-life tale!

I was rescued from a life of captivity with my previous human who was a victim of child trafficking.

After my rehabilitation, I want to help others have a voice that’s loud enough to howl against this injustice lurking in the shadows.

The conversations we must have are challenging, especially when children are involved. They are pups themselves. Where do you start, without over-exposing them?

Meanwhile, in our backyard, exploitation is on the rise and it targets girls and boys, especially ages 12-14, of every race and demographic.

That’s why I’ve told my account here, which includes age-appropriate discussion questions for three levels of readers:

• Grades 3-4
• Grades 5-8
• Grades 9 and up

I’ve asked my good friend, Wendy, to write my story because my paw print is barely legible. This book is a one-of-a-kind educational resource for people who want to bite back against child trafficking and do all they can to prevent it!
